“Bienen” – “bees” is a fashion performance with party character. Thereby, Lisa D. plays with themes, textures and colours and represents an attempt of repatriating the mutual masking of all social spheres into an experience space, which makes the contradictions and denials perceptible – an aspect of utmost importance for our everyday life.

Consequently, it is a live-event with choreography, big city-sounds, techno-beats and video projects as a roaring counter die of individual staging. Fashion is used as a means of escape from fetters of society. It is also used as a thrilling horror-show showing the workman of post-Fordist spectacle society, who mutated into a working mannequin whose ideals repose on a sexually indifferent, culturally, ethnically and sexually dismissed being that is still adaptable to any specific circumstance. Or, to quote Calvin Klein: “I am always myself but never the same.”
