With Around the World, Daniel Schnyder and 13 soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra set off on a musical world trip: from the Arabic Suq through to jazz clubs in North America. Combining all the musical influences, Schnyder creates his own style which is characterized by rapidly changing beats and rather unusual solo parts. Our everyday musical world is newly interpreted; but Daniel Schnyder does not just bring the continents closer to each other, his music also crosses borders between epochs and genres with a naturalness that is both energetic and irresistibly intuitive. His music cannot be pigeonholed, is open to new ideas and constantly changing. Around the World can be depicted as a musical covering of the world with outstanding soloists of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.
