Un adattamento, a cura di William Kentridge, della famosa opera dell’autore tedesco Georg Büchner. In questa versione, Woyzeck è un lavoratore che emigra nella Johannesburg del 1956, una sterminata landa di sterile industrializzazione. La produzione mette in scena burattini ad asta e film d’animazione, per illustrare graficamente le torture mentali di Woyzeck, che cerca di dare un senso alla sua esistenza.
