Pan Sonic . AGF/Delay . Peter Senoner
An enormous luminous sculpture takes shape inside a factory hall: dark creature of complex shapes that emerges from darkness and disappears by day. To this scenario, Pan Sonic draw Finnish soundscapes: minimalist, rhythmical music with a reduced structure and clear sounds. The corporeality of their music is an essential component and reveals the influence of Industrial and of American electro-bands. Very low, very high, very long, very fast, very slow; all the switches as far as they go. Consequently, AGF/Delay present their intimate view of the world: strange and rumbling beats come across whispery vocals. Moody, eclectic and awkward at times, large and small tales about life are told. The minimalistic, calm and prudent grooves form hypnotic loops.
Peter Senoner > born in Castelrotto in 1969. He works and lives in Chiusa and Munich. His works are mainly concerned with conception, they question the present the and future.
Pan Sonic > the duo Pan Sonic was founded at the end of the 1980s by Mika Vainio and Ilpo Vaisanen. Their various projects range from happenings and performances to concerts all over the world.
AGF/Delay > the Germanvocal artist AGF aka Antje Greif and the Finnish sound experimentalist Vladislav Delay – both renowned for their solo projects – try to find their genuine sound by means of their common project AGF/Delay.
