Francesco Filidei > L'Opera (forse) - Otto sketch in un Atto unico, 10 min

Francesco Filidei > I Funerali dell'Anarchico Serantini, 11 min

An evening of Italian contemporary and experimental music, inspired by a piece of Luigi Nono, father of the Italian avant-garde. The piece, a post praeludium for tuba and electronic music, concentrates on the exploration of the inner life of sounds and on the process of their creation. In the meanwhile, Eduard Demetz descends into the depths of his homeland, the Dolomites, and describes it's ragged, coarse cliffs.

The experimental journey ends with Francesco Filidei. Is it possible to write an opus, only ten minutes long? Maybe, maybe not. But, there it is: an overture, an arie and a cabalette, reduced to a sketch about a fish and a bird and their unhappy love, both ending in a frying pan. In the piece '' Funerali dell’Anarchico Segantini'' Filidei tells the story of the young Anarchist Franco Segantini, who died by the hands of the police on March the 7th 1972, after three days of agony.

Thunders of Epiphanias

23.09 - 24.10.09 – Lanserhaus Appiano

The exhibition hosts works of Florian Germann, Christoph Hinterhuber, Christian Kaufmann, Ivo Mahlknecht and Leander Schwazer. The artists were invited to confront themselves with the nature of things and the space surrounding them and with how these elements influence our minds and thoughts and concience. The Lanserhaus building of Eppan/Appiano will be a Forum, a place for the artists of three different generations to meet and exchange their ideas.
