How much intimacy fits into a performance? The Belgian artist’s collective Ontroerend Goed playfully and subtle holds up a mirror to the audience. Would we like someone who behaved like us or are we simply happy not to run into suchlike people? In a labyrinth of six chambers, the visitors are channelled, one after another, through all facets of self- and foreign-perception and through a hall of mirrors.

At best it makes you reach some kind of minor catharsis; but it’ll put anyone on a very personal trip by hook or by crook.
