Uovo di Bocca
Chiara Guidi . Gilda Biasini . Claudia Castellucci . Luciano Trebbi
„Uovo di Bocca“, a dramatised reading with pieces from the eponymous collection of lyrical and dramatic texts by Caudia Castellucci, raises a number of questions concerning the construct of freedom and the consciousness of birth. The way of speaking is a monophony of two voices, which perfectly mirror poetry as spoken medium and – as in ancient times – in its metrical and tonal form. It is the voice to turn this piece into something special – dramatic and not literary art of words
The actresses do only influence their voices phonetically; the sequence of questions presumes to the absolute limit of intellect. In this way, a clearly stated “I am” arises: a god, who, even though he might not exist, decides himself about the origin and the tension of the question. The other text thematizes the awareness of one’s own birth, nativity as a matter of appearance and the knowledge of the affiliation to the genealogy of the earth-born.
