Wine was a gift from the gods that would allow access to the givers themselves—a gateway to divinity, which remained closed to the sober. Vienna’s Klangforum returns to the ways of the ancients with Symposion. Intoxicating modern music underscores the slow, subtle changes in your perception while you wile the night away drinking and enjoying the chance companionship of the night. The Apollonian world mutates into a Dionysian one: borders blur over the course of the night and then finally disappear.
