Azione_Improvvisa is glad to presents the SEEDs project, built with the support of the Ernst von Siemens foundation. The ensemble’s extremely unusual line-up consisting of Andrea Antonel (Theorbo), Margherita Berlanda (accordion), Pierpaolo Dinapoli (electric guitar), and Daniela Fantechi (electronics), is focused on the exploration of new sound identities within the context of contemporary music.
The SEEDs project intends to bring together composers and performers on an unexplored, unstable, and unique terrain, where the seeds of creativity can germinate and proliferate. Zeno Baldi, Farzia Fallah, Daniela Fantechi, Marco Momi, and Lula Romero have taken part in the SEEDs project, each one working with a different understanding of what a seed could represent. A seed can be understood as a kernel storing and preserving historical information that can become something new in a different context. Or it can represent a starting material for a constant transformation process, in which sound expand and transform the listening environment. Or it can be compared to something that feeds instruments, letting them grow as their nature would foresee.
✅The EU Digital COVID certificate is required for admission.
