Nosferatu lets the blood in the veins become cold. Art Zoyd resurrects F.W. Murnau’s masterpiece “Nosferatu” as an extreme triptych: in between screen, music and stage. A black-and-white spectacle, where the silent film meets avant-garde rock-sounds. Granular synthesis: a discovery journey in the face of the performance-artist Akemi Takeya; enlarged to gigantic dimensions on 4 projections screens, the facial expressions are scratched off layer by layer, archs of suspense between soul and body, heaven and hell are exposed.
