Heart of a Dog is an American drama film directed by Laurie Anderson. It was screened in the main competition section of the 72nd Venice International Film Festival.

In Heart of a Dog artist Laurie Anderson reflects on the deaths of her husband, mother, beloved dog and subjects such as family memories, surveillance and Buddhist teachings. Subjects such as life and death, love and loss, terror and the loss of freedom are explored in the film. A soundtrack album of the same title was released on Nonesuch records on October 23, 2015. It features audio, music and spoken word pieces by Anderson from the film.
