An abandoned mountain hut in the Brenner border area is turned into a hermit library; a 2001 landslide causes its closure. Co-founder Hans Winkler installed a new temporary work with what remained of the stock, based on the theme of the demise of the hermit library. Blixa Bargeld presents a reading of the proposed last book: Die letzte Lockerung – the Dadaist manifesto by Walter Serner. At scalini84stufen, the LURx Association invites you to a reading entitled “die letzte Brennerwurst und dann...” with Kurt Lanthaler and Tomaso Boniolo – and a real Brennerwurst (Wurst = sausage) and drink for visitors.
The new Plessi Museum on the Brenner motorway presents a new album by Italian composer Teho Teardo and Blixa Bargeld, the mastermind of the band Einstürzende Neubauten. In the album, entitled Still Smiling, the musicians gave free rein to their desire to experiment.
