The fourth edition of „hörbar! – tag der neuen musik“, now renamed Inaudito/Unerhört/ casts an eye on the Italian composers of the young generations. As much as the previous government’s cultural policies have nipped in the bud many initiatives on contemporary art, strong research and a rich production within the field of new music still exists. The Milano mdi ensemble, one of the most appreciated ensembles of Northern Italy will be hosted in this years edition of “Inaudito”, carrying out chamber music and pieces of soloist music of young composers, some of which will be present as “directors” and will happily be available for an open discussion.
It will be held at the Civic Museum of Bolzano, a place with an incredible sounding board and magnificent architecture to explore. From the medieval wineries to the baroque halls leading to the tower, from the storehouses to the inner courtyard. Every one of these places is a sonorous experience on its own,but as a whole, the building becomes a polyphonic experience.
