The atomic apocalypse is the origin of a suffered reflection on the subjective responsibility of man towards history. Andrej Tarkovskij dedicates his last will/film to his son to give future generations the duty to etch existence, to break the course of time that escapes our will. The great French contemporary composer and pianist François Couturier seizes the challenge by composing twelve pieces for piano, cello, saxophone, soprano, and accordion, inspired by the masterpiece of the Russian director.
