A world premiere not to be missed: Alter Ego – the Italian ensemble of the most contaminated contemporary music in its genre – together with David Moss, famous British vocalist, face Arnold Schönberg’s genius in his most representative piece: the Pierrot Lunaire, dated 1912. David Moss is the catalyst of this performance that sees tradition becoming the right pretext to dare a detailed overview onto the golden world of Hollywood in the thirties where Schönberg lived the last years of his life. What we see on stage is a Pierrot of our times who wishes to exasperate the stinging and provocative charge that the same Schönberg thought he could pour out in his entire artwork. With a wild, amusing, comical but also moving, serious and philosophical show, David Lunaire is a profoundly contemporary project, historically documented.
