Troubleyn/Jan Fabre . Angel of Death . Ivana Jozic . Eric Sleichim
Angel of Death fosters the encounter of the “spirits” of three emblematic figures of the contemporary arts: Andy Warhol, father of the American Pop Art, William Forsythe, innovatory choreographer, founder of the Frankfurt Ballet, and the author himself. Filtering the three biographies from a very personal point of view, Jan Fabre guides us in his personal imaginary, always loaded with surrealism and dominated by the themes of mutation, beauty and immortality. In this way the three characters are transformed into the icons of a collective imaginary. A total work in which music, video, performance, dance and acting melt together.
