It isn’t about borders between countries: if anything, it’s about language areas. So this event enriches the Austrian slam scene with texts and performances—if you qualify of course! Anything you please is allowed, except trying to please: storytelling, spoken word, cabaret, hip hop affine, linguistic experiments, dialect poetry and onomatopoeia. In short: varied and entertaining word rivers of Slam Poetry. Twenty-four word jugglers have already qualified. Only twelve will make the grade to the final, under the direction of Master of Ceremony Mieze Medusa together with Markus Köhle.
