IE/PI VAL_Palmgren & Hughes Turned is a performance which combines elements of dance, visual arts and electronic music, through the use of new technologies. The dance, performed alive, shot and manipulated in real time, functions as a stimulation for the entire visual process... the images multiply ad infinitum, until reaching a point of exasperation in which they loose their initial definition, transforming everything into a poetic vision of the concepts of abandonment and annihilation. In the conclusion the record players, which opened the action with their rhythm, dominate the space again, transforming it into a new record to be played. The audience cannot but take part in this interactive and multimedia scene.
